ActionFreak won €116 000 from Galfond in one hand
The fifth game session of ActionFreak vs. Galfond challenge that runs as part of the huge Galfond Challenge has come to an end. This is already the third challenge for Phil.
This time, Phil Galfond reached an agreement with a poker player under the "ActionFreak" nickname to play 15 000 hands at PLO tables with limits of €150 / €300.
According to the results of the past four game sessions, Galfond was ahead of his opponent by €416 442. During the last battle, ActionFreak managed to reduce this gap to $321 000.
During this session, there was a hand played with the largest pot in the history of the given challenge. Thus, ActionFreak won as much as €116 000 in one hand.

This match took place at PartyPoker, as ActionFreak had some transaction difficulties at Run It Once Poker.
Since the game was held under real names, it was possible to find out the name of Phil Galfond’s rival.
ActionFreak is a poker player from Greece – Ioannis Kontonatsios, who has earned over $220 000 in live tournaments throughout his poker career.
So far, the guys have carried out 5 game sessions, that is they played 3 351 hands out of 15 000 planned ones.
