Michael Addamo captures $50 000 WSOP High Roller bracelet event
Michael Addamo, a famous Australian high roller, has gained another victory, thus continuing his winning streak. This time, Michael played a very expensive bracelet tournament at the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.
Addamo captured the WSOP 2021 Event #38: High Roller with a $50 000 buy-in, pocketing a massive payout of $1 132 960. The tournament itself collected a huge prize pool of $3 877 870 with an 81-player field, and the final table featured plenty of well-known high rollers.

In heads-up, Michael Addamo beat the popular US poker player Justin Bonomo. The runner-up also earned huge prize money, namely $700 220.
As for other WSOP 2021 Event #38 final table players, two more Americans should be highlighted: Erik Seidel, who finished his participation in fourth place with a $358 660 payout, and Sam Soverel, who took seventh place, winning $157 660 in prize money.

Here is how the last hand of the event went down: Justin Bonomo moved all-in preflop holding 10♦-9♠ and was called by Michael Addamo with K♥-J♥. On the Q♦-J♣-10♥ flop, Bonomo got a straight draw, while Addamo caught a pair of jacks.
The turn brought 10♠, thus improving Bonomo's hand to three of a kind, but A♣ showed up on the river, making Addamo a champion. We note that only 13 poker players entered the ITM zone; the lowest payout was $ 80 000.
