Adventures of a Canadian at the 888poker XL Autumn Series
888poker is currently hosting a packed XL Autumn tournament series with a total prize pool of over $2,000,000. At the start of the festival, the Canadian grinder "HARBOURBOY64" became the one to talk about, when at the same time got the title of the lucky winner and also a loser in one of the events.
We are talking about the Mystery Bounty starting tournament with a buy-in of $109 and a prize pool of $120,000. In two days, the event collected 1,142 entries, thanks to which the guarantee was slightly beaten.
The above-mentioned Canadian managed to make it to the final table on Day 2. But, apparently, he had problems with his connection – after a few hands, "HARBOURBOY64" ended up sitting out and did not show any signs of life for half an hour. After that, he came back with just 3 BB and was soon eliminated in eighth place, with 75o against his opponent's pocket kings.
Despite this unfortunate incident, the Canadian still won more prize money than the winner of the tournament.
