Alex Foxen won two High Roller Club titles in one night

Alex Foxen is one of the strongest poker players across the globe. He has won more than $16 800 000 in live tournaments and over 6 million dollars online. The guy has repeatedly become the Player of the Year according to the GPI, thus proving his skills.

Successful play in High Roller Club at PartyPoker

On June 23, Foxen added two more poker titles to his victories. He managed to successfully complete two events that were held as part of the High Roller Club at PartyPoker.

Alex gained the first victory in the $5 200 tournament, which brought together 49 participants. Only seven players received their share of $250 000 prize pool, Foxen took the biggest prize money.

Regular participant of high roller games Pascal Lefrancois also reached the final table, but became a bubble boy and left the tournament with nothing. Pascal's departure guaranteed the remaining finalists a minimum payout of $10 625.

Alex Foxen and Eelis Parssinen held out as long as they could and eventually reached the final heads-up. In the last hand of the tournament, Foxen shoved with A-10, and Elis called his opponent’s bet with A-8. The board brought another 10, which was enough to ensure Foxen’s victory. He received $88 750 for first place.

Alex got the second High Roller Club title by winning the event with $1 050 buy-in and $50 000 GTD. This tourney attracted 45 participants, but Foxen took the main prize again: $8 225 for first place and $8 898 as bounty.

Alex's girlfriend, Kristen Bicknell, also took part in this event but wasn’t lucky enough, as she busted on the bubble. However, the PartyPoker Ambassador managed to earn $875 as bounty.

The Canadian's next heads-up «victim» was Corne Scheel from the Netherlands. Corne couldn’t stop Alex from winning the second title at the High Roller Club.
