Alexandros Kolonias wins $1 000 000 for 2nd place in Super Million$
The Super Million$ Week at GGPoker has officially ended with the $10 300 Main Event. Each of the poker players fought for their share of a $10 000 000 prize pool. It was one of the largest flagship high roller tournaments ever hosted by GGPoker, as the field of players was really huge – 976 people.
It took only two and a half hours to determine a winner of the final table. It was Ben Ward from Great Britain, who beat the 2019 WSOPE Main Event champion Alexandros Kolonias in the decisive heads-up. Both players received over $1 million in prize money.

Javier Gomez had the second largest stack at the start of the final table, but finished the event in third place and took away $818 999. It happened when Javier’s A-Q turned out to be weaker than Ward's Q-J since there was another jack on the board.
The final heads-up lasted just over ten minutes, and Kolonias won just four pots. In the last hand, Alex played 4-bet with pocket nines, but Ben had A-K. There was an ace on the board that secured Ward’s victory. For second place, Kolonias earned $1 million, while the tournament winner received a payout of $1 242 000.
