American wins the $10K U.S. Poker Open event with quad jacks

Joe McKeehen 2021

Joe McKeehen started playing the $10 000 USPO Event #3 final table as a chip leader and retained this status the whole game long. It is relevant to note that he managed to eliminate six (out of seven) people from the final table, and in 3-max Joe did it quite nicely.

Throughout his poker career, McKeehen has amassed over $17 000 000 playing offline poker and gained three WSOP bracelets. Now, another major high roller win will be added to this list.

The final table, which took place in PokerGO Studio at ARIA Resort & Casino, was streamed, so poker fans around the world were able to watch the game on PokerGO. The viewers could contemplate McKeehen’s excellent play and how he confidently headed towards victory.

It is also worth noting Ali Imsirovic, who once again reached the high roller finals. He failed to emerge victorious from this tournament, but received a massive payout of $100 000 for third place.

It was Joe McKeehen who prevented Ali Imsirovic, as well as Ray Qartomy, from winning the event. McKeehen won the tournament in 3-max spectacularly, hitting four of a kind, which helped him knock out two opponents at once. Following his triumph, Joe McKeehan burst into the top 20 most successful US tournament players.
