Aussie Millions: Rainer Kempe became the winner of AU$25 000 Challenge

The first big live poker series is being held in Australia – Aussie Millions 2020. Every day, the organizers carry out events in which the poker players win big prizes.

Rainer Kempe became one of such players. The German took the 1st place in AU$25 000 Challenge tournament and earned $595 000.    

The famous poker player Chino Rheem finished one step away from the heads-up. Chino won big tournaments in his career more than once, and he earned more than $10 000 000 in live events for all time.

This time, he wasn’t able to win the tournament and took the third place. The American player got $300 000 for this.

Deal in the final

Rainer Kempe and Toby Lewis fought for the victory in the tournament. Before the start of heads-up, the players made a deal and splitted the remaining money. Then the game continued only for the trophy, and Rainer Kempe won it.  

Both finalists got almost the same payouts. Toby Lewis became the runner-up of event and earned $566 000, while the winner got $595 000.
