Belarusian player became the champion of WSOP Circuit Russia

It took the participants of WSOP Circuit Russia High Rollers final table about 18 hours to determine the winner. This event with $2,035 buy-in collected 136 entries, and the prize pool increased to $244,000.

Belarusian player Vladimir Lappo became the champion of this tournament. He got $57,000 for the first place. Lappo got to the final table with the third largest stack and appeared in all-in situation three times with a pair of kings. He won all three hands and quickly became the chipleader.

When only 3 players remained in the game, they started to discuss the deal, but decided to omit it. First, Vladimir lost all-in to Azim Orunov with a short stack, and then doubled against Darkhan Rakhymzhanov. Several hands later, Darkhan again went all-in and left the game in third place.

Azim had stack twice as small as Vladimir. Heads-up lasted only 10 minutes and Lappo’s K-9 turned out to be stronger than Orunov's pair of triples. The runner-up of event earned $34,000, and the winner enriched with $57,000.
