Bin Weng Continues His Hot Streak with WPT $25,000 High Roller Win at Wynn

Bin Weng wins WPT $25,000 High Roller tournament

American professional Bin Weng continues his incredibly successful year in poker. In 2023, he managed to receive many titles and impressive prize money in various events around the world. Some time ago he began to be called the main candidate for the role of WPT Player of the Year.

And he's not going to stop – now Bing Weng added to his list of victories one more by winning the prestigious $25K High Roller event at the WPT World Championship in Vegas.

In 2023, Bin managed to win six championship titles, as well as reach the final table in tournaments 16 times. His offline winnings exceed eight and a half million dollars, and forty-year-old Weng was able to earn most of this amount this year.

The high roller tournament with a buy-in of 25 thousand at the Wynn casino attracted 194 entries, and the winner was entitled to an impressive sum of more than a million. Weng was unstoppable at the final table – he eliminated six opponents on his own.

In heads-up he met with the Belgian Thomas Boivin, who is an experienced professional in live events. They played for quite some time and eventually came to the decision to make a deal. The conditions were very friendly: equal prize money for both participants, and the champion would receive a prestigious title, a cup and one extra dollar.

"I’m kind of speechless right now, I’ll be honest with you. This is the first one that’s a high roller, a $25K buy-in."
