Cary Katz won Super High Roller Bowl 2019
Some days ago, American poker pro Cary Katz lost to his colleague and high roller Ben Tollerene in British Poker Open tournament for £100,000. But it turned out to be a small loss on the eve of a grand victory, because Cary won Super High Roller Bowl 2019 and earned the largest prize in his career.
Super High Roller Bowl (SHRB) started in London in Aspers Casino on Friday after finishing British Poker Open series. 12 players took part in the tournament with £250,000 (~ $310,000) buy-in in which the prize pool was £3 million (~ $3,750,000).
Katz beat Ali Imsirovic in a heads-up and kept his name in the elite list of Super High Roller Bowl champions, including such names as Brian Rast, Rainer Kempe, Christoph Vogelsang, Justin Bonomo (who won in Las Vegas and China) and Isaac Haxton. He also became the winner of the first SHRB in the history in London.
