Chance Kornuth wins his third WSOP bracelet in Short Deck Event
After being defeated in the challenge by Phil Galfond, Chance Kornuth didn't stop improving his poker skills. Kornuth managed to win his third WSOP bracelet in a Short Deck Hold'em tournament.
The 2021 WSOP Event #29: $10 000 Short Deck No-Limit Hold'em recorded 66 entries for a total prize pool of $660 000.

In addition to the gold bracelet, for first place Chance Kornuth also won $194 670 in prize money. American player Chad Campbell became the tournament runner-up, earning a payout of $120 310. In total, 10 poker players entered the ITM zone.

In the final hand, Chance Kornuth caught the nuts on the J♣-J♥-8♥ flop, holding J♠-8♣ and began to profit from Chad Campbell, who was dealt 10♣-9♥. The turn brought 9♠, that is, a blank. Campbell, by the way, hit a straight on the river as 7♦ showed up, but that was not enough to win the tournament.
