Chinese player made 20 re-entries for $5 250 tournament
Recently, the poker community became aware of Wei Zhao's failure. A member of GG Omaha Squad team Sasha Liu posted a screenshot on her Twitter page, which showed that one of the players made 20 re-entries for $5 250 tournament (that was held as part of GG Spring Festival).
An interesting fact is that the tournament’s prize pool wasn’t big and only $126 000 was supposed to be awarded for the first place. Even if the Chinese player managed to become the winner, he would get only + $21 000, given his investment of $105 000.

Thus, Wei Zhao covered the tournament guarantee by one third. However, the most offensive thing for Wei is that he failed to enter ITM zone of event. In the comments, Sasha Liu's followers called Zhao a fish. In defense of re-entry fan, Mike McDonald wrote the following:
Let's monitor Zhao’s statistics on the Hendon Mob website. Since 2014, his total prize money in offline tournaments during his entire career is $422 000. According to Sharkscope, his online diagram shows $682 000. Thus, most people were wrong when called him a fish. Everyone has bad days and Wei Zhao is an example of that.
