David Peters won second WSOP bracelet
David Peters is an American high roller, who is ranked 7th in All-time money list, and he has over $33.7 million won in the live tournaments. On weekends, he became the champion of WSOP Online 2020.
The poker player won event #54: $10 000 Heads Up No Limit Hold'em Championship and first place brought him $360 480 and a series gold bracelet. This is not the first WSOP trophy for Peters. In 2016, he won WSOP $1 500 No Limit Hold'em.
In the final heads-up, Peters faced two-time WSOP champion Michael Addamo. At the beginning of battle, Michael confidently took the lead, but then Peters managed to double several times and equalized the score level. After that, he became an unrivalled leader. In the last hand, Addamo had about 7 big blinds and he went all-in with J♣ 3♣. Peters called with A-K. Ace was dealt on the flop, and the turn (ace) and river (king) brought him a full house, as well as the long-awaited victory.
It is worth noting that before the battle with Michael Addamo, David fought in the semi-final with the Canadian online pro and streamer Alissa MacDonald.
