Douglas Polk and Daniel Negreanu stopped their longstanding feud

Douglas Polk and Daniel Negreanu

The fans of Daniel Negreanu and Douglas Polk probably know about their long-standing feud, which has been going on for more than 3 years.

It all started when Negreanu criticized Polk's training courses called Upswing Poker. In response, Polk began to regularly provoke Negreanu, by criticizing PokerStars for cutting the rakeback (it should be noted that Negreanu was PokerStars ambassador at that time).

After that, poker players still exchanged unflattering comments with each other. The heads-up duel between these players became an apogee of their enmity. As a result of heads-up challenge, Douglas Polk defeated Daniel Negreanu and won over $1 200 000 from him. Then, the dust settled and Polk focused on other players.

Recently, Polk hosted a poker podcast and Negreanu became its guest. In the podcast, they discussed their play, heads-up battle with Phil Hellmuth, Negreanu's victory in the high roller tournament and many other things.

During the podcast, there was a friendly atmosphere, and the players were very courteous to each other. It seems that a long-standing feud between two professionals is finally over. You can watch Polk's podcast with Negreanu on Polk's YouTube channel "Doug Polk Podcast".
