Douglas Polk wants mayor of Las Vegas to resign
We’ve recently written that the mayor of Las Vegas, Carolyn Goodman, encourages the US authorities to weaken quarantine and allow restaurants, hotels, and casinos in Las Vegas and throughout Nevada to work.
Goodman argues that the quarantine has already led to mass unemployment in the state and, in the long run, may lead to «dire consequences».
Such Carolyn’s statements caused nothing but mixed reaction not only among Las Vegas residents, but also among well-known poker professionals.

The legendary poker player Daniel Negreanu was outraged by Goodman’s statements, having commented on them on his Twitter, but the guy’s subscribers’ reaction was also mixed.
The holder of 3 WSOP bracelets, Douglas Polk, stated that he would initiate the process of recalling votes for Carolyn Goodman (as mayor of Las Vegas), which should lead to her resignation. Polk reported on this via his page on Twitter:
He also proposed Daniel Negreanu to meet and notarize all the documents necessary in this regard, however, there was no response from Negreanu.
