EPT Prague Champion Faces Allegations of 30 Robberies Despite Poker Success

Canadian poker player Jordan Saccucci got the title of the EPT Prague Main Event champion just a year ago, in 2022. This victory brought him prize money in the amount of almost one million dollars, $962,162 to be exact. But it seems that this money was not enough for him.

The other day, the police of the state of Ontario (Canada) announced Saccucci and three more of his accomplices as wanted. They are accused of 30 cases of robberies of private houses. According to the police report, a total of 8 people participated in the gang, but the identities of the others have not yet been established. The group acted in an organized manner. Their targets were private homes in the suburbs of Toronto, where they were hired as construction or repair crews, after which they robbed the homeowners.

On November 21st, law enforcement officers conducted searches at the residences of the suspects, uncovering and retrieving various items that were reported stolen from the victims' properties. Authorities believe that the suspects are aware of their wanted status for potential criminal activities, leading them to go into hiding at present.
