Finnish player turns $11 into $61 700 in a Stadium Series event
PokerStars is now hosting a massive series of online tournaments under the name Stadium Series. For the sake of convenience, all events were divided into three different groups based on buy-in levels: low, medium, and high. But not every player can afford to play even low buy-in tournaments.
For such players, there are many satellites to qualify for the Stadium Series events.
Finnish player with the "Ceis25" nickname took part in one of the satellites for $11. His name is Casimir Seire, and he is just 19 years old. Casimir managed to qualify for the Stadium Series Heat 11-H tournament with a $1 050 buy-in and a $400 000 prize pool. Ceis25 reached the heads-up, but lost the final battle to a Russian player (Aleks Better), having received $61 673 for second place. The winner won a little more money: his payout was equal to $65 763.

The runner-up was very happy to make such a deep run and didn’t hide his emotions after the end of the tournament:
The Finnish player will never forget this tournament, as the guy managed to turn $11 into $61 763, which is now his best result in a poker career. Until recently, Casimir's best cash was $1 800. Now, Ceis25 has a big enough bankroll to take part in the Stadium Series tournaments and not waste time on playing satellites.
