GGPoker Network Sets Unprecedented Record in Cash Traffic

In the summer of 2021, the GGPoker network surpassed PokerStars for the first time in terms of traffic and became the largest provider of online cash games in the world. Since then, GGPoker has only strengthened its leadership position. Since the beginning of 2023, the average number of users per week has only increased:

• January – 6,600 players
• April – 8,800 players
• July – 9,200 players

And in November 2023, the average number of users reached the record mark of 10,000 players. According to data on November 23, the average number of players was 9,800. The online peak was 253,057.

The data comes from PokerScout, which takes into account the number of occupied seats (not the number of unique players) at the cash tables.

At the same time, PokerStars continues to set anti-records. Since the beginning of 2023, the average number of users of this poker room has only been decreasing:

• January – 4,400 players
• April – 4,200 players
• July – 3,500 players

According to data on November 23, the average number of users is 2,400. The peak online is 55,540.

The third line in the rating continues to be occupied by the iPoker network. Here's how the average number of iPoker users has changed over the current year:

• January – 1,500 players
• April – 1,200 players
• July – 2,450 players

The growth of iPoker traffic is related to the inclusion in the global pool of the Swedish operator Svenska Spel, which controls more than 50% of the gambling market in the country. According to data as of November 23, the average number of network users is 2,500 (of which 1,000 users belong to Svenska Spel). Thus, iPoker overtakes PokerStars in terms of average number of users. However, iPoker is still far behind in terms of peak value.

Statistics of other well-known poker brands:

1. WPT Global has dropped to the 600 average player mark on the site. For comparison, in the spring and summer, the room averaged 1,000 players each.
2. TigerGaming (Chico network) maintained an average number of users of about 575 players throughout the year.
3. 888poker has seen a decline in traffic all year. Now the average number of users is 575. In January there were 650, in April 550, in July 575.
4. Partypoker has already lost about 35% of its traffic. Now the average number of players is 475, at the beginning of the year it was 700. In the PokerScout rating, the room occupies the 19th line.
