The poker player's commentary regarding this event was also posted on the official website of the WSOP series:
«Hearing the news that I am being inducted into the poker hall of fame this year brought back memories of my early poker days, walking into the Binions Horseshoe, about to start a poker session, admiring all the poker hall of famers on the wall. It feels good to be included with all the poker legends that I once idolized and competed against over the years. Thank you, everyone».
In addition to four WSOP bracelets (1 in NL Hold'em event, 1 in Pot Limit Omaha event, and 2 in Razz events), Huckleberry Seed has earned over $7 649 800 in live tournaments throughout his entire poker career.
Besides great game achievements, Huck Seed is also known in the poker community as a fan of "extreme prop bets".
For example, the player has recently had a $50 000 fight with the Pro MMA fighter Terrence Chan. The fight occurred on a break during one of the WSOP 2015 events:
Three-time WSOP champion Greg Mueller said that the fight took place by their mutual agreement. At the end of the video, you can see that the guards intervene and separate the "duelists".
Among other challenges, it should be mentioned his prop bet with Phil Hellmuth. Huck claimed to be able to swim in the ocean for 24 hours, but the guy failed to succeed. Also, Seed won $ 10 000 from Howard Lederer when he proved he could learn to do backflips in two days.
