Hustler Casino Live Reigns Supreme in 2023's Poker Show Lineup

Broadcasts of Hustler Casino Live gained the most popularity in 2023

For the third year in a row, Hustler Casino Live dominates the field of poker TV broadcasts. Although HCL has a competitor in the form of a show from The Lodge Card Club (the poker room of Doug Polk, Andrew Neeme and Brad Owen), the impressive numbers speak for themselves.

Since its launch in 2021, Hustler Casino Live has amassed over 300,000 followers on YouTube. Quite often, especially every Friday, online high-roller games reach over 20,000 viewers.

In 2023, the most popular poker show presented the audience with many bright moments. The full details of a couple of the loudest broadcasts are presented below.

HCL's First 24-Hour Stream

Hustler Casino Live host a record 24-hour stream of cash games

In December, Hustler Casino Live hosted the first ever 24-hour cash table broadcast in the history of TV poker in Los Angeles. The organization of the show turned out to be quite difficult – the producers had to look for famous players and commentators who would be ready to spend a whole day on the air.

The issue was resolved "by working in several shifts". The show started on December 1 in the afternoon, but none of the game participants could sit through the entire stream until the end. American Matt Hanks became the main champion with "steel buttocks" – he managed to last 19 hours at the table.

The most productive participant of the ether was Charles Yu – he finished the game with a profit of $689,000. The biggest loss in the amount of $1,139,000 was shown by the well-known regular from India, Santhosh Suvarna.

$1,000,000 Buy-in Game

When the WSOP series just started in Las Vegas at the end of May, the producers of the show decided to take advantage of the moment and hold a game with a minimum buy-in of $1,000,000. The streams of the first sessions did not seem very interesting – the participants played very tightly and did not rush to arrange action.

Everything changed when Douglas Polk, Tom Dwan and Wesley Fei gathered around the table. The legendary "durrrr" decided to remind everyone how to play at high stakes and made a couple of fantastic pots in one evening. First, Dwan won $1.3 million against Polk by catching a set on the flop.

And then he took a record bank in the amount of 3.1 million dollars. You can see how it was in the video:

Undoubtedly, the producers of the most popular TV show have something to be proud of – at the end of this year, they have almost no competitors. But we should not forget about the recent success of "Game of Gold", which is already called one of the main events of the poker year. The second season is ahead – let's see if HCL can hold the bar in 2024.
