Igor Kurganov won $55 000 in High Roller Tournament at Partypoker MILLIONS UK
High roller tournament for $10 000 was held at Partypoker MILLIONS UK series. The event collected 95 entries and prize pool amounted to $950 000.
17 players entered the final day, including the following poker pros: Russian player Igor Kurganov, Australian player Kahle Burns, the Portuguese Joao Vieira and the American player Alex Foxen.

13 poker pros entered the prize zone. Burns was very close to the winning of the second event at Partypoker MILLIONS UK. However, Joao Vieira managed to become the champion.
In heads-up, Vieira’s stack was twice the size of Burns. In the final hand, Joao outplayed Kahle, by hitting a set of jacks. He got $250 000 for the first place and this prize money became one of his biggest poker winnings during the entire career.
Burns became the runner-up of the tournament and earned $165 000. Alex Foxen took the third place and got $115 000.
Kurganov took the 6th place. At the beginning of the final day, the Russian player was a chip leader. He managed to knock out two players, but over time, he lost his leadership position. Burns knocked Kurganov out of the game, because he had the pocket aces, while Igor had the kings.
Another Russian poker player, Anatoly Filatov, took the 9th place in the tournament and earned $35 000. The winner of the tournament knocked him out of the game.
