Ingram is leading at Global Poker Awards by the number of nominations
On 6 March 2020, the second ceremony of Global Poker Awards will be held in Las Vegas. The organizers of event said that the new awards for achievements in poker were introduced.
Some days ago, it became known that poker streamer Joey Ingram is the leader among poker players by the number of nominations at Global Poker Awards. It was found out after a semi-final voting last week.
Ingram is nominated in the following categories: "People's Choice", “Media Content: Video", "Podcast" and "Journalist of the Year". No doubt, Joey is able to create the qualitative and different content.

The editor of Pocket Fives Lance Bradley is second in the rating by the number of nominations. He is nominated in such categories as “Podcast”, “Journalist of the Year” and “Media Content of the Year: Written”. The ambassador of GGPokerOK Daniel Negreanu appeared in the nominations: “Vlogger of the year” and “Podcast”.
This year, only eight European poker players were nominated in the different categories of Global Poker Awards. These are: Stephen Chidwick, Lex Veldhuis, Hossein Ensan, Ben Spragg, Barny Boatman, Ben Farrell, Nick Jones and Paul Seaton.
Last week, the famous American poker player Douglas Polk accused Global Poker Awards of bias. He made a claim that the organizers of ceremony didn’t include him in any of the nominations. But Polk has the largest number of views on YouTube among other poker bloggers.
