Isaac Haxton finished second in WPT Super High Roller tournament
WPT Online at PartyPoker is coming to its end. Yesterday, one of the most expensive tournaments of series for $102 500 was held. The organizers called it a super high roller event, because few people can afford to pay such an expensive buy-in.
This tournament attracted 40 players and they all fought for a prize pool of $4 000 000. The guarantee was beaten by a million, and six finalists got excellent prize money.
However, before that, 36 poker players failed to reach ITM zone and they left tournament with nothing. Daniel Dvoress also was not so lucky, as the Canadian pro stopped one step before the prize zone and he became a bubble boy of WPT Super High Roller Championship.
By the way, seven Canadian poker players got into the top 14 according to the results of given event, but only Isaac Haxton managed to reach ITM zone.
The British satellite player Charlie Godwin took part in the final table. During the ten years of her poker career, the girl won only $141 000 in the live events (a little more than the buy-in in today's event). Charlie qualified for Super High Roller event for only $109 and finished third with $602 000 of prize money.

Returning to the heads-up, before the start of final battle, the poker players decided to share prize money and continue playing for the title of champion and additional $30 000. Michael Addamo and Isaac Haxton earned approximately the same prize money: $1 216 000 and $1 284 000.
Despite the fact that the main money was shared, the heads-up battle turned out to be very exciting with most of the action on postflop.
However, only one player was supposed to become a winner and Michael Addamo succeeded in it.
