Joshua Prager got LAPC One Million Champion Title and won more than $220,000
The largest L.A.Poker Classic tournament with $1,000 buy-in collected 1700 entries. Joshua Prager turned out to be the strongest player in this Event.
Prize pool of L.A.Poker Classic One Million tournament was 1,7 million dollars. The future champion Joshua Prager got to the final table with the largest stack. During the game, he temporarily lost the lead, but then he knocked out two opponents and regained himself the largest stack, which was about one third of all chips at the table.
By obtaining the strong position, Prager initiated a deal in which the six remaining participants of the final table took part. According to the agreement, everyone received at least $95,000 prize money.
Since an agreement was reached, the further game has been played for the title and prizes which remained in the center of the table: $10,000, $20,000 and $30,000.
8 players floated into the prize zone. The minimum amount of winning was $32,550, and the payments for participants of the deal varied from $95,460 to $227,775.
LAPC is the second big winning of Joshua Prager in his career. In 2007 he earned $522,000 for the 3rd place at EPT Grand Final in Monte Carlo. Now the player has more than $1.5 million dollars of prize money.
