Justin Bonomo became a runner-up of Super High Roller WPT
WPT series with a large number of tournaments continues at PartyPoker, which attracts the players with different bankrolls. 70 participants paid $25 500 buy-in and as a result, the prize pool reached the mark of $1 750 000.
Only 11 of them reached ITM zone and Rok Gostisa became the one who “jumped into the last carriage”. He finished seventh and earned a payment of $76 000.
Two famous Canadian players participated at the final table, namely Justin Bonomo and Jason Koon. Jason took the third place and enriched with $212 800.
Heads-up turned out to be very interesting, as Justin Bonomo and Ottomar Ladva from Estonia played in it. Ottomar is a professional chess player and it is worth noting that he became the grandmaster of this game in 2016.

However, Ladva plays not only chess, but also poker. Within 2 years of playing, Ottomar entered ITM zone of live tournaments 23 times and became the winner twice. His biggest offline victory dates from 2019 at EPT Barcelona in €550 tournament.
This time, Ladva fought against Justin Bonomo. The final heads-up was bright and lasted about two hours. As a result, Ladva managed to cope with a fourfold chip deficit and became the winner of tournament.
For the triumph, Ottomar received $529 000 and Bonomo earned $327 400. After such a bankroll replenishment, we can assume that we will see the young poker pro from Estonia more often in the expensive tournaments.
