Koon will replace Seiver against Hellmuth in High Stakes Duel

The poker community is looking forward to the next round of the epic heads-up High Stakes Duel with the most WSOP gold bracelet holder Phil Hellmuth.

Phil has won these duels nine times already and he lost only once to the American poker player Tom Dwan. However, very quickly Hellmuth took revenge and continued his streak of victories.

After his victory over Scott Seiver, Hellmuth stated that he was playing against a very strong opponent and it is quite possible that this spurred Seiver on. On August 22, a rematch was to take place for the amount of $1 600 000.

But soon Seiver changed his mind and refused a rematch with Helmut. Scott did not make any specific statements about this, however, the poker player referred to "personal reasons".

The prospect of holding the next duel turned out to be vague, but the name of Hellmuth's new rival has already become known. It was the famous American poker player Jason Koon.

Since joining the GGPoker team, Jason Koon has made many big wins both in live tournaments and online. Late last year, he won his first World Series of Poker bracelet.

Now Koon is ready to take on one of the best tournament players. Playing styles of Hellmuth and Koon are completely different. Jason is great at managing his own emotions, which can't be said about Phil.

It will be a real fight of GTO against "white magic".

It seems that the new opponent made Hellmuth nervous, as Phil asked to postpone the date of their duel to a later time. Most likely, Hellmuth wants to better study the game of his opponent in order to be fully armed when they meet.

The final date for the next round of the High Stakes Duel has yet to be set, but the poker community should expect an epic battle between the two poker celebrities.
