Kristen Bicknell became a runner-up of Irish Poker Open Online Ladies Event
On 9 April, PartyPoker held a lady tournament with €265 buy-in as part of Irish Open online series. The event collected 82 entries and only 12 girls reached the prize zone. The participants shared €25 000 between themselves.
In general, there was a strong players’ pool at the final table. Given the fact that the players used their real names in this tournament, there was no doubt that only girls participated in the game.
The representative of PartyPoker Kristen Bicknell reached to the final heads-up, where she fought against the Russian player Daria Krashennikova. However, Daria managed to outplay Kristen and became the winner of the tournament. She got €6 625 for the 1st place, while Bicknell enriched with €4 625.

After the victory, Krashennikova commented that their stacks in a heads-up were quite deep. She had about 70-80 BB, and Kristen – 60-65 BB. She also stated that Bicknell played very aggressive, but the Russian player managed to beat her opponent. According to her words, she is proud of her victory and heads-up with Kristen.
Among the finalists, except Bicknell and Krashennikova, there was also Sosia Jiang from New Zealand, whose offline winnings reached the mark of $1.5 million. The champion of Women's Event EPT London 2013 Kelly Ann Saxby also took part in this event, as well as the frequent guests of the popular poker series such as Kimberley Kilroy and Elizabeth Bennett.
