Legends Showdown at RIO Poker: finalists are determined
The High Roller League called Legends Showdown is drawing to a close. Poker professionals competed in heads-up matches for a few weeks, and all that remains is to determine the champion.
Fedor Holz has been showing great results in poker lately, therefore, he was rightly considered one of the favorites to win the Legends Showdown. Over the past two months, Fedor has managed to record lots of ITMs, as well as a WSOP 2020 gold bracelet.
Fedor survived the group stage but failed to get to the final. In the semifinals, his path to victory was blocked by the Finnish regular player Pauli Ayras, who took revenge on his offender. The point is, Holz defeated Ayras during the group stage, but it all changed in the semifinals.

The guys played two sessions with blinds of 50/100 euros, and Fedor went into the red by 90 000 euros during those matches. Nevertheless, the whole tournament turned out to be profitable for Holz, as his profit amounted to 9 000 euros.
In the final, Pauli Ayras will be opposed by the American player Kevin Rabichow. The last was lucky to often win pots due to coolers when playing against Bjorn Li in the semifinals. We remember that insane hand in which he defeated Bjorn, who had a set, with a flush. Thus, Rabichow beat Li and reached the final.
Rabichow and Ayras have already played their first heads-up match. Following the results of the first 500 hands played, Rabichow took the lead (+46 000 euros). Their play is to continue today: the finalists have to play another 750 hands.
