Maurice Hawkins won the 14th WSOP Circuit ring
WSOP Circuit made its first stop in 2020 at Choctaw Durant in the USA. Maurice Hawkins, who is a record-holder for the number of rings won, became the champion of tournament for $400.
Maurice managed to add the 14th ring to his arsenal. In order to get it, he needed to beat 218 players. Hawkins took the 1st place and earned $17 000, as well as the 14th gold ring. Now, he has two rings more than his closest rival in the ranking: Valentin Vornicu.

Hawkins had over 1 000 000 chips at the beginning of his play at the final table, while the other opponents had about 300 000. Maurice was a chip leader and beat the opponents by getting more and more chips with every new hand.
In heads-up, he fought against Andrew Robinson, but Andrew wasn’t able to find the key to victory. In the final hand of the tournament, AK brought Hawkins victory and the 14th gold ring.
