Mystery Cash Challenge: New YouTube Poker Show from PokerStars

Mystery Cash Challenge: new YouTube show from PokerStars

PokerStars likes to please the audience with a variety of poker shows. Many fans will remember shows like the PS Championship Cash Challenge, where professional grinders played against media stars and actors like Kevin Hart, and the Shark Cage, where players tried to bluff each other and put them in a cage. Now the first episode of the new poker TV show – Mystery Cash Challenge – has been released on the PokerStars YouTube channel.

The idea of the new show is to add Mystery Bounty and stand-up poker formats to the usual cash game. Each session is divided into 6 rounds of 10 hands with €25/€50 blinds. The first 9 hands are "qualifying", each of the players must win at least one during this time. The tenth is a bomb pot, where all those who have qualified bet €100 preflop and go to compete on the flop. In addition to the bank, the winner takes a random cash bonus and one of the special (secret) prizes.

The cast of the first episode was very interesting and diverse: Parker Talbot (tonkaaaa), Sam Grafton, Alexandra Botez, Maria Ho, Fabiano Kovalski and Griffin Benger. The show was hosted by the regular hosts of all key PokerStars broadcasts, Joe Stapleton and James Hartigan.

In the following video of the first episode you can see that the bomb pot turned out to be interesting: Aleksandra Botez found herself in a difficult spot with a bluffcatcher against Kovalski's decisive bluff.
