NAPT Series Launches with Jesse Lonis Winning Super High Roller Title
The North American Poker Tour, or NAPT, by Pokerstars has officially started. It takes place in Vegas after a long break of 12 years. Currently, the first tournaments have already been held and the first winners have become known
American Jesse Lonis officially became the first winner of the revived festival, winning the $10,300 Super High Roller. 59 players took part in the event, and the prize pool was $572,300. Lonis defeated David Stamm in heads-up and won $174,550.
"It feels like winning the Triple Crown. I won in the Bahamas series, the WSOP and now here. So nice. I feel like I'm playing well and things are going pretty well," Lonis said in an interview.
The final one-on-one confrontation was long (more than three hours) and tense. Jesse does not hide that prize money is very important to him, as he has a family that he supports. He called his wife and two daughters the biggest motivation in his life.

The American plan to play a lot on this festival, and immediately after the victory he registered for the next event in the Pot-Limit Omaha format. It was in this discipline that he managed to win his first gold bracelet in Vegas this summer.
