Niklas Astedt wins the ME WSOPC for $759K
On Saturday, the WSOPC Main Event ended at GGPoker. The final table chip leader was Niklas Astedt, and he was also the main favourite to win the event.
Astedt needs no introduction as he has been voted the world’s best online poker player by PocketFives for a long period of time. The site credits the Swedish superstar with over $22 million in online tournament winnings. At GGPoker, his winnings are more modest, but still impressive – $11 000 000.
Another win has been added to that amount, as Niklas emerged victorious in the ME WSOPC at GGPoker. In addition to winning his first WSOP Circuit ring and massive prize money, Astedt became the GGPoker's Team Champions first member.

As regards the final table, Niklas was a chip leader all the way up to 4-max. In one of the hands, which turned out to be unsuccessful, the Swede lost a lot of chips and became the third in terms of the stack. But soon, he managed to regain the lead and win the tournament.
In heads-up, Niklas was opposed by a Chinese player with the "aoteman1888" nickname. The famous high roller did not experience any problems with the Chinese player and easily won the confrontation.
