Niklas Astedt has achieved great results in such tournaments as Super Million$ at GGPoker. He has managed to get to 11 final tables and record 20 ITMs, but yesterday, the Swede secured a major victory in event, which took place as part of GG Spring Festival.

In the Sunday Five Million, 202 players paid a buy-in of $25 500, and one of those poker players was Nicklas Astedt. A massive guarantee was at stake, namely $5 000 000. By the way, such famous players as Sam Greenwood, Joao Vieira, Jason Koon, and others fought for the victory in the final table.

Astedt started to play as a chip leader, and many people considered him as the favorite to win the event. They were right, as Niklas really became the champion and got a big prize money of $1 000 000 for the first place.

In the final heads-up, he fought against Shawn Daniels. However, Shawn, didn't provide any special difficulties for the future winner. The runner-up, in turn, didn't get upset at all as he earned $800 000 for the second place.
