Partypoker Responds to Traffic Decline with Reduced Promotional Activities
The Partypoker poker room has seen a steady decline in traffic over the past few years. The situation threatens to become critical and it is no longer possible to ignore it. Therefore, the room published a statement on its Discord server, where it acknowledged the existence of a problem and announced a significant reduction in promotional offers.
Leaderboards, affiliate agreements, and the DiamondClub VIP program will be cut. All this is a direct result of reduced traffic on the global platform. This was greatly influenced by the poker room's focus on regulated markets.
Total traffic, including cash games, tournaments and sit-and-gos, fell below five figures. The operator has fallen far behind other major networks such as WPTGlobal, Winamax, iPoker and even 888Poker. According to GameIntel, the recent 30-day average for concurrent players in cash games has fallen to less than five hundred.
One of the key factors influencing this decline is Partypoker's strategic shift towards regulated markets. While this move was initially intended to solidify the platform's standing in the global poker scene, it appears to have adversely impacted its overall traffic.
