PGT Mixed Games II Results: Best Player and Main Event Champion

Chino Rheem on PGT Mixed Games II

The second edition of the PGT Mixed Games II Championship has ended in Las Vegas. As part of the series, 9 tournaments were played, which included different formats and types of poker. It had everything: H.O.R.S.E. tournaments, Limit Hold'em, Limit Omaha Hi-Lo, Razz, Stud and Stud Hi-Lo. Everything but classic NLH and Omaha. Dozens of the best players gathered to compete in this format, including Daniel Negreanu (who refused a heads-up deal and lost the title) and Chino Rheem. It was the latter who eventually became the best player of the festival.

Rheem began his journey to this title with a third place finish in the inaugural H.O.R.S.E. with a buy-in of $10,200, and already in the next tournament he won. Adding five more final tables in a row, David confidently finished on the first line of the overall series leaderboard and received an additional $25,000. T

As for the winner of the Main Event of the series – the $25,300 10-Game Championship – it is Maxx Coleman. The American, who returned to the game of poker after brain surgery, became the best in the tournament with 29 participants and won the biggest prize of the series in amount of $245,630.

Interestingly, the intrigue remained until the very end of the main tournament. Rheem did not give up in the fight and reached the final table. And his result was third bronze place. This allowed him to confidently receive the title of the best of the best at this festival. And Maxx received a "consolation prize" in the form of a prestigious title and huge prize money.

This is Coleman's second tournament win since his return to poker and his ninth title overall, including two World Series bracelets. In total, Maxx has more than 4 million dollars in tournament prize money for his career.
