This is the first World Series of poker online and it is likely that it will be the largest series of online poker tournaments.

The organizers of the series do not deny the possibility of holding a series of live WSOP 2020 tournaments in Las Vegas in the fall if the situation with coronavirus in the world normalizes. So hosting the WSOP online does not deny the possibility of hosting the traditional live World Series of Poker 2020.
