Poker's Elite Gather in Vegas: Hellmuth, Veldhuis, Cade at Players Party
It seems that offline poker, in all its variety, is making a real comeback in North America. Along with the resumption of the NAPT series, Pokerstars decided to hold a large-scale Players Party in Vegas.
The last time a party of this magnitude took place was in 2010, when during the annual World Series of Poker (WSOP), the Palms Nightclub was rented out for a massive party that featured none other than Snoop Dogg.
On Thursday night, as Day 2 of the NAPT Main Event drew to a close, players were invited to Zouk Nightclub for free drinks, snacks and entertainment. Although this time without Snoop Dogg, there were still plenty of celebrities at the event.

Also in attendance at the party were high roller David Peters, WPT champions Andy Frankenberger, Matt Salsberg and Faraz Jaka, NAPT women's event champion Kyna England, RunGood Poker Series (RGPS) President Tana Karn, commentator Nick Walsh, Brazilian poker superstar Andre Akkari and Vanessa Cade.

Overall, the return of the PokerStars Players Party to Las Vegas was a great success and it was clear that no expense was spared. For comparison, drinks were free for three hours, while a couple of cocktails cost $50 during regular business hours. And judging by the video on Instagram, the attendees had a lot of fun and racked up a hefty bill at the bar.
