PokerStars' 50/50 Series Distributes Over $4 Million in Winnings

50/50 series' and main event results at PokerStars

The 50/50 Series, which took place from November 12 to 19, has come to an end on PokerStars. It is safe to say that this festival was quite successful, because the announced total guarantee of $3,000,000 was exceeded by more than a million dollars.

As a result, more than $4,100,000 was awarded to the participants at the festival in 50 events from Holdem, Omaha and other disciplines. It should be reminded that buy-ins for all tournaments were $50.

Of course, the largest prize pool was collected by Main Event – thanks to 8,904 entries, players competed for a share of $404,686. Representatives of the Red Spade professional team also fought for the title, but this time Lex Veldhuis, Benjamin "Spraggy" and Neymar did not reach the ITM zone.

As it often happens, the Brazilians dominated the final table – four representatives of this country managed to get into the top 9 at once. Surprisingly, the victory was won by a grinder form Belarus with the nickname "Vupe", who knowingly made two entries into this event and as a result took home the top prize of $56,558.
