PokerStars' Fintan Hand Triumphs at UKIPT Edinburgh Main Event
The final event of the UKIPT series from PokerStars was played in Edinburgh, and now the name of the main champion is known. It is a player directly associated with this poker room and brand, as he is a member of their team of professionals. This is a popular streamer, Fintan Hand, originally from Ireland.
Fintan mainly prefers to play online, and many people know him under the nickname EasyWithAces. However, he demonstrated that he could very well show excellent results offline. This is the first major live tournament title for the Irishman.
The main event had a £1,100 buy-in and attracted 220 participants. At the final table was another representative of the PokerStars team, Ben Spragg. His result was sixth place. Ben and Fintan are good friends and have known each other for a long time. They shared a photo together after the game.

The heads-up was interesting and quite long. It was Daniel Gormley's birthday that day, but his final result was second place (and a nice £27,580 consolation prize). In the last hand, the future champion won with pocket eights.
Fintan commented that he really wanted to take first place, since victory and the title are of great importance to him.
"It's nice whether it's for £500, £5,000, or £44,000."
He also noted how beautiful the trophy was for his achievement.
