PokerStars held Sunday THREE Million with prize pool of $3 500 000
On New Year's Eve, the most avid players didn’t spend their free time by preparing for the holiday, but they were playing poker. On December 31, at 5am, the Sunday THREE Millions ended at PokerStars with an enlarged guaranty.
The claimed guarantee of $3 000 000 was successfully beaten, and this allowed to form the prize pool of $3 508 000. With the $215 buy-in, there were 17 543 entries made in the event, and each of the participants wanted to win a pleasant New Year prize.

Greek player, who performed under the "takisxa" nickname. The guy usually plays at low limits, therefore $375 000 was a great addition to his bankroll. Prior to this tournament, his biggest victory was a triumph at the The Big and a winning of $17 000.
Takisxa took part in Sunday Million tournaments 17 times, but only this time he managed to win the event. In the final, players from Argentine, Georgia and Poland kept him company. All of them received six-figure prize money.
There were many strong players in the finals, but such professionals as Sam Grafton with the nickname "SamSquid" and Dominik Panka (aka "qardze_warni") stood out among them. They took the eighth and fourth places respectively.
