PokerStars users in Crimea got a message from the poker room’s support according to which it was stated that PokerStars stopped offer its products on the peninsula due to the changes in legislation.

PokerStars team assured that the users’ money is in complete safety and it is available for withdrawal.

Nevertheless, the representatives of the room asked to pay attention to the fact that not all withdrawal methods would be available for the players from Crimea. For example, cashout through VISA and Bank Wire is displayed as available methods, but the poker room won’t be able to process the request for withdrawal of funds through them.

PokerStars team recommends you to carefully consider the available cashout methods before sending a request in order to avoid the unpleasant situations.

It is not yet known whether PokerStars will resume an access for Crimean residents. The poker room doesn’t give explanations as to whether the change of residence registration will help to return an access for playing at PokerStars in Crimea.

Given the current geopolitical situation of Crimea, it is unknown when PokerStars will return there. However, there is information that a new gaming zone “Gold Coast” will be created in Yalta in the nearest future.
