PokerStars to introduce anonymous tables
Over the coming months, PokerStars intends to test anonymous tables behind closed doors. Following this innovation, players of the poker room will be able to hide their own names if desired.
PokerStars’ Managing Director Severin Rasset said that they work on new products all the time and have many offers to be tested, and anonymous tables is a good way to protect recreational players. He also noted that players’ feedback is very important for Stars therefore they will monitor the feedback during testing the product.

As for the hand history, it will be available 24 hours after the game. Severin explained that this option had been developed considering integrity of the game and in order for PokerStars players to feel secure.
The anonymous tables are certainly nothing new to online poker. Most poker rooms allow changing display names. Prior to this, PokerStars only offered the opportunity to play with usual names.
