PokerStars Unveils 2024 EPT Schedule: Five Stops, No PCA Included

PokerStars have released the full schedule for the 2024 European Poker Tour (EPT) season, which has once again left out the iconic PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA). It should be reminded that in 2023 the stage in the Bahamas returned to the schedule after a four-year absence and had some success. 889 entries were made in the Main Event, which is more than in 2019 (865). Other tournaments of the stage, including high roller ones, were also marked by a greater number of participants. Despite this success, the iconic Bahamas festival will not feature in the 2024 schedule.

Cyprus, an emerging hotspot in the poker scene, will once again feature on the EPT schedule in October, hosted at the Merit Royal Diamond Hotel Casino & Spa. The success of EPT Cyprus in 2023 has firmly established it as a key stop on the tour.

As you can see, the 2024 schedule almost completely repeats the 2023 schedule. Among the changes, it is worth noting the transfer of the venue in the Paris stage. The series tournaments will now be held at Le Palais des Congres, which will accommodate more players and tables and thus solve the queuing problem that arose in 2023.

"We paid close attention to the feedback from players and focused on enhancing both the experience and the facilities for the Paris event. A bigger venue, improved registration, more tables… we hope to host as many players as possible in 2024 in Paris," commented EPT Associate Director for Live Events Cedric Billot.

PokerStars also plans to offer a range of online opportunities for players to win entries into EPT events. Satellites and Power Path for Paris festival are already underway, including prize packages with ME seats and hotel accommodations.
