PokerStars 2019

It became known that Hold'em format such as Power Up will disappear from PokerStars lobby. It will be replaced by two new formats, which are expected to be launched at the end of this year.

The design of two new products at PokerStars will be in a marine theme, and they will be called Deep Water and Tempest. The rules of these games are not yet known, but it is already known that antes will vary in size.

PokerStars representative commented on the innovations and said that they would watch the players’ reaction:

“Our aim is to satisfy those who may be hungry for a deep strategic challenge, as well as those wanting a simple, no frills thrill. Much like our other exclusive games, Deep Water and Tempest will be offered by PokerStars for a limited period”.

New formats of Hold'em will be tested in the lobby for about 9 weeks. If they gain popularity among the players, they will remain. If not – they won’t be returned to the poker room.
