PSPC 2021 in Barcelona was postponed again

PSPC 2021 in Barcelona was canceled

Exactly a year ago, Cardmates wrote that the spring stage of PSPC series was postponed. In 2021, the situation repeated and the series, which was supposed to take place in Barcelona, was postponed indefinitely.

The reason for this is the difficult epidemiological situation in Spain due to coronavirus. The organizers of series won’t be able to ensure the health safety of all participants, so PokerStars has decided to cancel event.

PokerStars postponed PSPC 2021

Despite the series postponement, Platinum Pass packages will continue to be raffled. In total, PokerStars will raffle 400 Platinum Pass for the upcoming PSPC series.

The last PSPC series was held two years ago in the Bahamas. At that time, the world didn’t face with coronavirus and the casinos were full of visitors. Ramon Colillas became the winner and won $5 100 000.

Now, offline poker is suffering from pandemic, but online poker is definitely fine. This week, PokerStars successfully held $14 000 000 Anniversary Sunday Million with 69 876 entries. In April, the poker room will host a large series SCOOP 2021. Its full schedule can be found on the Cardmates website.
