Qing Liu became the champion of Main Event WPT Venetian

Gambling industry in Las Vegas is rapidly gaining momentum after the quarantine restrictions. The players’ huge turnout in the expensive tournaments is proof of that.

Some days ago, Main Event WPT Venetian for $5 000 and $1 500 000 guarantee took place in the Venetian Casino. The event collected 937 entries that formed a huge prize pool of $4 685 000.

Qing Liu from the United States got the victory and earned $752 880, which became his largest prize in the entire career.

The poker player from the USA Joe McKeehen became a runner-up and enriched with an impressive prize money of $491 960. Five Americans and the Canadian pro Jack Hardcastle played at the final table of tournament.

In the final hand, Qing Liu shoved with K♣ 4♠ and Joe McKeehen called with K♥ 7♦. The following cards were dealt on the board: 6♠ 4♦ 2♥ 9♦ 6♣ and they confirmed Liu's victory in this tournament.

In total, 118 players received payments in this event, and the minimum prize money reached the mark of $8 365.
