Rob Yong became a runner-up of the ME High Roller Club at PartyPoker
One of the PartyPoker LIVE founders and Dusk Till Dawn Poker Club owner, Rob Yong, often takes part in different poker tournaments and cash games either live or online. This time, Rob showed an excellent result at the Main Event High Roller Club worth $25 500.
The tournament collected 38 entries, and the previously set guarantee of $750 000 was beaten by $200 000, which formed a prize pool of $950 000. Traditionally, it was difficult to find an unfamiliar surname among participants of such an expensive tournament, and the tables were full of famous poker players.
There were only 5 prize places, and shortly before the ITM zone began, Mikita Badziakouski and Viktor "isildur1" Blom left the game. The Swedish high roller finished his participation in seventh place, and the Belarusian stopped a step away from the prize-winning zone of the tournament (6th place), becoming a bubble boy.

Top 3 was closed by Russian player Artur Martirosyan. He took away $156 000, but the guy made three entries, meaning his net benefit is just half the prize money.
In heads-up, there was an interesting confrontation between the PartyPoker LIVE founder Rob Yong and Almedin Imsirovic. The last emerged victorious in this battle, having received a payout of $387 000. Runner-up of the Main Event (Rob Yong) got $251 000 and earned points towards the overall leaderboard of the series.
