Run It Once Poker launched its built-in HUD

RIO Poker 2020

Run It Once Poker regularly pleases its players with various updates. In early August, the room launched a daily leaderboard with a prize pool of $12 500.

Nevertheless, the RIO Poker updates were not limited to promotions. By deciding to keep up with its top competitors from the GG Network (Natural8, GGpoker), the poker room made a product upgrade, bringing a new interesting feature to its game client. Thus, a built-in HUD called HeroIQ appeared at the game tables of the room.

By analogy to the Smart HUD provided by the GG Network, HeroIQ stats will be displayed after 10 hands played.

Three statistics will be available to players: VPIP, PFR, and poker players’ playing style. The software will display a total of 7 different game styles: Tight Passive, Tight Aggressive, Very Tight, V Loose Passive, Loose Passive, Loose Aggressive, V Loose Aggressive.

More and more poker rooms will likely integrate built-in HUDs at their tables since it does not violate fair play and does not give any special advantage over opponents.

However, more experienced players will be able to collect information on their opponents much faster.

Given that the top poker rooms have imposed many prohibitions concerning the use of auxiliary software in recent years, the built-in HUDs introduction is a compromise solution for both poker rooms and poker players.
