Sam Soverel won PLO tournament for $25 000 at Poker Masters

The winner of British Poker Open Sam Soverel didn’t slow down and added another victory to his arsenal. This time, the triumph took place at Poker Masters series. Sam earned $340 000 for the first place in PLO event and this victory entered top 5 of his largest prizes.

Sam commented on his victory:

“I ran good. It was a lot of fun playing against Sean, we have been playing for against each other for about 11 years.”

Soverel played in a heads-up against Sean Winter. Several hours before that, 5 participants left in the tournament, including such famous poker players as Anthony Zinno, Kahle Burns and others. Anthony was the first, who left the game, however he earned $98 000 for the 5th place.

He was followed by Kahle Burns, who played at WSOPE series perfectly. In this event, he wasn’t able to find his best game and the Australian player finished his performance in the 4th place.

George Wolff took the 3rd place and gave opportunity to Sam and Sean to decide the fate of the trophy. In the final, Sam Soverel turned out to be stronger and became the winner.
