Sami Kelopuro became the best online poker player in April 2021
Last month, the Finnish high roller Sami Kelopuro demonstrated good results in the expensive tournaments of large series at GGPoker, PokerStars and PartyPoker.
Kelopuro won so much prize money that he managed to become the best player in April according to the authoritative poker resource PocketFives.
Overall result of the Finnish high roller in the past month is over $4 400 000, which he earned at SCOOP 2021 series and GG Spring Festival.
Sami showed his first major result on 7 April at GGPoker in $25 500 GGSF Event #16-H, in which he finished fourth and got a payout of $236 290. He also won GGSF Event #49-H with the same buy-in that was held as part of this series and earned $522 610 for the victory.
Kelopuro continued to succeed in Super High Rollers tournaments and won GGSF Event #84-H, as well as took the 2nd place in GGSF Event #109-H. The buy-in of these both tournaments was $25 500 and Sami’s total prize money for the first and second places in these events reached the mark of $1 295 710.
Kelopuro also demonstrated good result in the expensive Omaha tournament at Irish Poker Online at PartyPoker and earned $34 640 for the victory. He solidified his performance by the triumph in $1 050 SCOOP-25-H tournament, in which he received a payout of $70 550.
It is worth noting that in September 2019, the Finnish poker pro showed a similar result and enriched with $4 275 000 in September alone.
